We fitted the new bulb to the projector but discovered more problems. So its going to be looked at during one of the Thursday sessions. I showed anyone who was interested the accelerometer Ive added to my door knocker bell and the nifty features that make it much more accurate than the previous piezo sensor.

3D Printing and CAD
Its the last session of the month so Ill be bringing along the 3d printer and we will be looking at designing and making a plaque label to attach to goods made in the wood work shop.
Using FreeCAD an open source CAD application with no licencing fees.
We will have the 3d printed holder weve been working on with Bryan. Designed in FreeCAD and printed in two parts in ABS plastic on my Prusa I2 3d printer. As in the picture above.
And if we have time another look at that projector and fault finding on the power supply.
I will bring along some micro controllers and components as usual. There are Arduino, ESP8266 wifi modules, Sensors and components for you to see and try. Ive added an Arduino Uno and kit of components so members can try it out and work through the tutorials and examples on the Arduino website. A PC or laptop is needed to program the Arduino so please bring along a laptop if you would like to have a go. If you havnt got a Laptop let me know and I will see what I can arrange.
